About Rent for Friends
I started Rent for Friends as a community for friends of friends to share places abroad, and for people who travel often to find somewhere to stay.
It's private and invitation-only. Members arrange everything directly with each other.
How to join

Get an invite code. Get an invite code from an existing member.

Get three vouches. Enter the emails of three existing members who can vouch for you.

Wait for approval. Once you have three vouches, our team reviews your application.

Verify and join. Verify your identity through Stripe and pay a one-time joining fee.

Browse and connect. Look through listings and message other members.
Listings
You can list a place to offer, or post what you're looking for. Choose how long your listing stays up and pay a listing fee. We check the wording and photos before it goes live.
Listings are adverts, not bookings. Rent for Friends doesn't take payments for stays. Members agree dates, prices, deposits and any other terms between themselves.
Fees
Browsing and messaging are currently free. Creating a listing costs a fee, based on how long it stays up. We don't charge commission or take a percentage of rent. Fees aren't refundable.

Listing fee
Pay a fee to publish a listing, based on how long it stays up. No commission and no percentage of rent.
Fees are non-refundable.
