The Idea
Most rental platforms are built for scale, not safety. They connect strangers with strangers, prioritise volume over trust, and leave both hosts and guests navigating a system where accountability is an afterthought.
Rent for Friends takes a different approach. We started with a simple observation: the best rental experiences happen between people who already know each other. When you stay at a friend's place, there's an inherent level of care, honesty, and mutual respect that no algorithm can replicate.
So we built a platform that extends that feeling outward — through trusted networks of friends-of-friends, where every member is personally vouched for and every connection is real.

Search by location, price, guests, and amenities. Compare up to three listings side-by-side. Save your favourites for later.

Chat with hosts in real time before you book. Ask questions, share plans, and build rapport — with typing indicators and quick-reply templates.
Flexible Booking
Select your dates, see a transparent price breakdown, and request to book — or book instantly if the host has enabled it. Modify dates or cancel with ease.
Reviews & Photos
After your stay, leave a star rating, written review, and photos. Honest feedback from real guests helps the whole community make better choices.

Select check-in and check-out dates, review the price breakdown (nightly rate + 5% platform fee), and send a booking request — or book instantly.
Message the Host
Chat directly with the host to ask questions, coordinate arrival times, or just say hello. Quick-reply templates make it easy.
Stay & Review
Enjoy your stay. Afterwards, leave a rating, written review, and photos to help future guests.

Optionally let guests book without waiting for approval. Instant-book listings get a badge and appear more prominently.

Review incoming booking requests from your My Listings tab. Approve or reject with one click.
