1. About Rent for Friends
Rent for Friends ("the Platform") is a private, referral-based rental marketplace operated by Rent for Friends Ltd (Company No. 16107439). The Platform connects trusted individuals through a network of personal referrals for short-term property rentals.
2. Eligibility & Membership
Access to the Platform is by invitation only. You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid invite code from an existing member to create an account. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or revoke membership at our discretion.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information during registration and to update it as needed.
4. Listings & Bookings
Hosts are responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate, lawful, and comply with local regulations. Guests agree to treat properties with respect and follow any house rules set by the host. All bookings are subject to host approval.
5. Payments & Fees
The Platform may charge a service fee on bookings to cover operational costs. All prices are displayed in GBP. Payment terms, cancellation policies, and refund conditions will be communicated at the time of booking.
6. Referral Programme
Members may invite others to join the Platform using their unique invite code. The referral programme is designed to maintain the trusted nature of our community. Abuse of the referral system may result in account suspension.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, to harass other members, to post misleading or fraudulent listings, or to circumvent the Platform's security measures. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
Rent for Friends acts as an intermediary between hosts and guests. We are not a party to any rental agreement and do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any listing. Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify members of material changes via email.
